Tasty food! Lots of street parking. Friendly waiter (Thanks Hunter!). My cousin and I had a nice lunch. A wonderful slice of southern charm for us travelers from the west coast.

Having early lunch at Donna's Old Town Cafe in Madisonville today. First time here. So many people telling me to try it. Now I get it. Amazing home cooking. Great atmosphere and priced right. I will be going back next trip to Madisonville or Knoxville. There is a private area available. Street parking up to the entrance.

Ate here as always when in Madisonville for Benton's Smoky Mountain Country Hams. We think it's fantastic traditional Southern fare. I had a fried chicken wing, fried fish, stuffed cabbage casserole tender braised beef, corn muffin, hush puppy, fried mac and cheese, and a slice of buttermilk pie. It was all so delicious, all traditionally cooked and done well, and will never stop coming here!

The food was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. I'll go back every chance I get.

The food here is fresh and homemade. It has a delicious flavor and the buffet has a great selection of soups, salad bar, many different meats, many delicious veggies and yummy desserts.

Donna's is a country cafe with a buffet . Food was very good , tasty and cooked correctly- good Texture, and flavorful. Staff was friendly and responsive. I will be going back.

Food is down home fresh and delicious. Get the bar so you can have a little bit of everything. Hush puppies are awesome. Fresh onions came out our servers mom's garden. Yes! I mean fresh! Service is excellent and this family owned and operated jewel of a real find. Don't miss this place just opposite of the courthouse. Also don't forget to finish your meal with that homemade dessert.

First of all, just an amazingly charming town , a flashback to Mayberry if there ever was one!!! Now Donna's: A spacious dining room that is very nicely decorated. We were greeted so warmly when we walked in I thought they thought we were someone else!! The buffet is everything they say it is and more We had breakfast and the offerings are almost too much, eggs, biscuits, sausage gravy, hash browns, bacon, chocolate gravy!!! French toast , pancakes all made right there in front of us.... They were bringing out fresh biscuits while we were there and they are to die for I can't say enough, and prices are so fair and reasonable!!!

This small town cafe has a buffet or you can order from the menu. The staff are super friendly and attentive. The food is delicious Today was our 4th or 5th visit; we planned our path home from Gatlinburg to come to their buffet at lunch. My husband and I really enjoyed the fried chicken, fried fish, roast beef with potatoes in gravy, green beans, turnip greens, fried green tomatoes, mashed potatoes, cranberry relish from the salad bar and strawberry cake. Did I mention fried chicken? There were other food choices on the buffet that we didn't try. While there, get your picture taken in the entrance. Right now, it's got a lovely fall themed tree ~ a perfect IG spot ;) If you are near Madisonville, go to this sweet diner!

Very cute restaurant with a great vibe! The buffet was so delicious and a fun variety of southern home items to try. My entire family loved the fried green tomatoes and fried chicken. Our waitress was SO kind and we enjoyed getting to speak with her about Vermont foliage vs, TN. Highly recommend this charming place. We will be back for breakfast!
